Iceland is a land of incredible beauty. Its wild volcanic landscapes, glaciers, hot springs, sprouting geysers and thundering waterfalls, combined with its rich history and folklore make it a fascinating country to explore.
This awesome trek takes us across the Landmannalaugar route through one of the most actively volcanic and alien landscapes in Iceland. Although the duration is short, the days are long and the terrain is very challenging with steep climbs and rough descents through jaw-dropping natural wonders.
On completing our challenge we will have the chance to spend the day relaxing our tired legs in the famous Blue Lagoon.
Join the Best Trekking Team For Ages and support us on our mission to end loneliness and isolation for older people living across the UK.
