Experience the thrill of jumping and free-falling in a sponsored tandem skydive to help beat loneliness for older people!

A tandem skydive is the easiest and most popular of all skydives. After just 30 minutes of training you get to jump strapped to a British Parachute Association (BPA) qualified tandem instructor who does all of the hard work for you, allowing you to enjoy the exhilarating feeling of flying through the clouds from over 10,000 feet at up to 120mph!

  • How do I get to the venue? Visit the Do It For Charity website to find your nearest Skydive air field. There are over 20 British Parachute Association approved centres across the UK so there is sure to be one near you.

  • What is the minimum age? You must be aged 16 or over.

  • Is there a maximum weight? You must weigh under 15 stone, although some centres do have a lower weight limit.

£6 could help us deliver a week's Telebuddies service, providing a regular phone call to check on five isolated older people living alone.

£50 could train a volunteer befriender for an isolated older person, helping to reduce loneliness and isolation in their own home.

£180 could fund a Music Therapist for a day, working to reduce anxiety in four 1:1 sessions and one group session.
